The Title Policy Production Specialist is responsible for performing all tasks and responsibilities associated with preparing and issuing final title policies in accordance with state regulations, established title company policies/procedures, and underwriter guidelines.

Essential Job Functions
Reviews guaranty file for completeness, accuracy, and ensures all requirements outlined in the title commitment have been satisfied prior to issuing the final title policy.
Reviews all recording instruments (i.e. Deed of Trust, Riders) for completeness, accuracy, and insurability prior to presenting to the county clerk for recordation. Receives and posts recorded instruments in the title production software system.
Prepares, issues, and delivers final title policies in accordance with state regulations, established title company policies/procedures, and underwriter guidelines.
Prepares and submits monthly underwriter remittance reports to the title company management for approval. Submits approved reports to Accounting Department.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with the title underwriter to execute home office issued title policies in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains inventory of title policy jackets which are reconciled with the title underwriter.
Works collaboratively with lenders, clients, and interested third parties to address and resolve post policy issues in a professional and prompt manner.
Actively participates with peers and management to maintain, review, and revise established workflows and processes to gain operating efficiencies and minimize expenses which support provided quality service.
Education and Training
Requires High School Diploma or GED
Requires individual to obtain and maintain Escrow Officer license with the Texas Department of Insurance.
Complete continuing educations courses required to maintain licensure.
Knowledge and Experience
Requires a minimum of one year experience in a title insurance company and agency.
Demonstrated ability to use title production software.
Requires proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Requires excellent interpersonal skills and ability to perform in a high volume environment.
Requires good written and oral communication skills.
Requires planning and organizing abilities.
Requires the employee to be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
Requires an attention to detail to identify issues that should be escalated to title management.
SEDENTARY WORK: Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking & standing are required only occasionally. Close visual acuity to perform activities like analyzing data, typing, writing, viewing a computer, reading, inspecting small parts or assembling. Generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting. May provide assistance and tasks at other locations or branches on an as needed basis. Evening and/or weekend shifts may be required. May drive vehicle if needed.
