The Director of Operations will manage day-to-day processes and team members for our Texas Tax Operations, ensuring a customer focus and promoting the use and implementation of technology to streamline operations, facilitate communications, and optimize work processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Takes ownership of tax certificate operational processes and team structure, proactively identifying gaps and ensuring scalability as the company expands.
  • Oversees our outsourcing measures, building relationships with external vendors, ensuring deliverables meet schedule deadlines and quality as well as improving output and performance capabilities.
  • Enhances the client support structure to provide best in class service to all clients.
  • Manages team with direct supervisory responsibility including, hiring, performance management, coaching and mentoring.
  • Manages budget and operating expenditures.
  • Develop KPI reports that effectively measure success, and regularly monitor team performance against them.
  • Leverage industry experience in the tax and title industry to develop and enhance processes and reduce claims, while continuously seeking to innovate and improve the way our tax products are delivered.

  • Has a strong leadership experience, a track record for successfully executing strategic company initiatives, and an ability to influence those without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related tax and title industry experience required.
  • 4+ years’ experience of management/leadership and training experience.
  • Experience managing outsourcing operations.
  • Demonstrated competency in creating and executing strategic plans, but also isn’t afraid to jump in where they are needed.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills.
  • Results oriented with strong time management and project management skills, and must be highly organized and driven to succeed.
  • Strong leadership skills, driving employee commitment through actions and alignment to company mission, and empowering employees to reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with leadership team on projects and initiatives.
